Today our school discussed the topic of “ grateful for parents, start from me”. As a student, I firmly believe that we should be appreciative of our parents. Since I was born, my parents have always been by my side, giving me their unconditional love and care. For instance, when I was little, my father always wake up early in the morning to cook me breakfast, while my mother always helped me with my homework. As I got older, they kept on encouraging me to do my best in my studies and in the things I enjoy.
One of the most unforgettable moments in my life was when I was asked to compete in a Maths competition. Knowing how scared and anxious I was, both of my parents stayed with me until late night and went to the competition hall with me very early in the morning. With their continuous cheer and support, I managed to achieve the second place in the competition. That gave me the biggest confidence boost in my life.
At the end of the day, I really appreciate my parents for everything they have done for me and it is important for all of us to show our gratitude to them.
